Pune Races - 21 Nov 21

Today's Pune races will be dominated by Pesi Shorff. A good set of his horses are in form and are capable of striking.

RACE 1.

Three horses, CHIEFTAIN, SUNLORD and KAMARIA are going to be in the limelight. 

SUNLORD was given an easy run behind SUNRISE (27.69) and has a slight weight advantage over CHIEFTAIN (28.92) who has been tracked regularly. KAMARIA was well up behind FAIRMONT over 1600M and appears to a safe place bet.  

RACE 2.

ZUCCARELLI'S TWO RUNS at Hyderabad were noteworthy. Extensive workouts have been given and will win this race. Odds are a question mark. The run should be noted for future placement and progress of the gelding.

RACE 3.

IMMERASURABLE runs in the Class IV now. Was a on money favourite last time out behind MULTISTARER. Worked over 1800M during the workouts and should strike ( 72.14) while keeping SEMINOLE (53.55), MARLBORO MAN (63.72) and WINTER STORM (74.59) at bay. MARLBORO MAN is a safe place bet.

RACE 4.

A race meant for Maiden 3 Years Old, out of which four have had an exposure. KINNARA (70.94) appeals the most for its run behind LIT. Was covering ground in the straight and has been worked on the tracks with better horses. Will win. JUGHEAD should place.

RACE 5.

PARISIAN is maintaining her good form. Has only tasted defeat twice. Runs again with the same opposition who could not match her strides. Had won by 8.25 lengths. Should be the winner.

RACE 6.

A close battle is on the hands. NORTHERN LIGHTS (61.19), a winner over the same Class and Distance during the previous race. Gets an allowance of 3.5 kgs due to Kirtish Bhagat. Will have to wade off the challenge of MULTISTARER (72.34) and goes to Class IV. WINTER (61.55) is at a disadvantage weight wise.

RACE 7.

The Grade III race on the papers looks competitive. BORN QUEEN will experience the Pune Race Track and runs after a gap of two months. ALLURING SILVER last run behind JULIETTE was impressive. Can the Cup go to the Owners? If I am not mistaken it had once! I don't propose to have a win bet, but just a Place bet on ALLURING SILVER, odds permitting.

RACE 8.

SANDRA'S SECRET and TIMELESS DEEDS will fight it out for supremacy. Safe to place TIMELESS DEEDS.
