Madras and Mumbai Races - 7 Jan 22

 

Today will be a busy day of 18 Races to be run at Madras and Mumbai. The Pandemic chaos is showing up and the threat remains. Full precautions have to be enforced if we want to have a safe and a routined normal life. Please take care and make others understand the gravity of the situation if we don't follow the protocols.

MADRAS RACES

RACE 1.

A very open race in which predicting the winner is uncertain. STERN MAIDEN and MAYFLOWER have better chances to prevail. MAYFLOWER should be a safe place bet due to its previous runs and her ability to hit the board consistently.

RACE 2.

ANGEL LIGHT has been worked out on the track and the Gates. Adhiraj, since the time he has changed his base is showing more zeal. I still want to observe his performance. SOVEREIGN POWER appeals the best as a safe place bet.

RACE 3.

If ANGEL LIGHT performance during Race 2 was of any indication, SANTA CLARA will be able to place in this set.

RACE 4.

JUDY BLUE EYES has shown out extensively on the tracks. Should win in this set. SKYLIGHT will follow.

RACE 5.

The fight will emerge between EAGLE PRINCE and COTTON HALL. EAGLE PRINCE stands better at 12.69 and should hit the line first.

RACE 6.

RUBIROSA, pedigree wise appeals. Worked out well on the tracks. Should be able to call the shots.

RACE 7.

Watch for noting the performance of the horses for future. Specailly in the parent Centers.

RACE 9.

RWANDA should be a safe place bet.

MUMBAI RACES

The Race Card is competitive due to less runners and many of them emerging as contenders. Suggest to be cautious and very selective.

Race 5.

Pesi has three entries. NORTHERN LIGHTS has had a run a fortnight back. SEASONS GREETINGS has been worked on the tracks and Trevor rides her. Well, such pointers tend to confuse. See the odds and balance the bet to come out with a profit.

Race 6.

TAIMUR and NORTH STAR will lock themselves in the battle. Both have met each other a few times. The rider has the last say to tackle and win. Weight wise too NORTH STAR appeals.

Race 8.

REDIFINED will win in this set. A good lung opener behind MONARCHY.

Race 9.

TURMERIC TOWER should be a safe place bet.
