RACE 1.



The weight impost on SMASHING BLUE is likely to have a say on her running effort, especially if the going is soft. All the others are front running too. THE SOVEREIGN ORB may go all out to turn the apple cart. Watch before you leap.




RACE 2.



Best to leave the race and observe how the track is affecting the horses.



RACE 3.



ROUDY with five runs under its belt is a good candidate for a place.




RACE 4.



SCRIBBLING HOPPER should be there at the finish line. Safe place bet.



RACE 5.



MIRACLE should redeem herself. Hopefully place bet is there too.




RACE 7.



MONTEVERDI can be an each-way bet.



RACE 8.



KNOTTY CITY and ROMAN POWER will be involved in a close fight. KNOTTY CITY should be a safe place bet.

Served in the Army Service Corps for 32 years, after having been trained in the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy.
